Resources Outside the Department of Defense
Some members of your command will appreciate seeing third-party references, meaning resources from outside the DoD. It’s natural that they might want information from independent authors as a kind of “second opinion.” These “external” resources can be a very useful tool in developing AVIP education programs for your command.
The Department of Defense is committed to the good health, safety and improved quality of life of our people. We use the same scientific principles taught by America’s great universities and used by America’s public-health authorities. As such, valuable resources about anthrax and anthrax vaccine can be obtained from highly reputable sources outside DoD.
