Commanders are not allowed to change vaccination schedules just for the sake of convenience.
On 11 December 2008, the FDA approveda change in the vaccination
series by removing the 2 week dose and asserting the safety and effectiveness of the new 5 dose regimen.
This is a change from the originally licensed 6 dose regimen.
